Profile: Nikita Raffell
Sentence: 6 months Mortgage Fraud
Background: Nikita is our first encounter with a resident inmate of the New Prison. Hailing from the Ukraine, like one of our inmates we have brought with us Adele Haze, she was incarcerated for a relatively minor offence of mortgage fraud. Whilst only a category C prisoner, this doesn’t stop her being unhappy about conditions and she asks to see the new Governor to voice her complaints. Unaware of the new Governor’s regime, she is soon shocked to find out that things are going to be rather different from now on. Her first meeting with Mrs Woods does not go too well either when they are forced to “2 up” and share a cell, discovering that Woods intends to re-establish her previous position in The Prison as Top Dog. A little naive of how her new custodians deal with transgressions, she is to learn only too painfully how to behave…
